Meet Randy

Randy's Background

Randy Brodehl serves our community; first as a fire chief, then as a legislaor, and currently as a dedicated county commissioner.

He has spent his adult life working to protect the lives, property and rights of citizens of Flathead County.

 

Randy served as the State Representative for Evergreen and Northeast Kalispell from 2011 to 2019. He served as Vice Chair of the House Appropriations Committee and chaired the judicial subcommittee, as well as chairing the Legislative Audit Committee.

Randy was in the fire service as a volunteer and career firefighter since 1970, and retired as Fire Chief of the Kalispell Fire Department 15 years ago. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Fire Service Management.

 

Randy enjoys the recreational opportunities that the Flathead has to offer. His favorite activities include fishing for bass in the summer, duck hunting and ice fishing in the winter, or bow hunting for elk and deer in the fall.
